Street-Level’s mission is to educate Chicago’s urban youth in media arts and emerging technologies for use in self-expression, communication and social change. Using video and audio production, and graphic design our youth address community issues, while learning 21st century technology and communication skills. Street-Level provides opportunities to more than 1,000 students each year, working in more than 15 Chicago Public Schools and through workshops held onsite and at partnering community organizations.
Street-Level’s board of directors supports the organizations mission through fundraising and advocacy. Our Board members provide counsel and support as needed, attend all regularly scheduled meetings, fundraise for and attend annual events, and cultivate additional donor prospects.
