The Mission of the Auxiliary Board of Lincoln Park Zoo is to: * provide supportive funds to the Lincoln Park Zoological Society (the Society); * provide public service and educational outreach to the community; * aid the Society in its efforts to improve Lincoln Park Zoo; and * provide leadership development and a legacy for future supporters Established in 1985, the Auxiliary Board of Lincoln Park Zoo is comprised of 100 young professionals who are proud to dedicate their efforts to raising funds for the zoo while being part of one of the longest-running junior boards in Chicago. Fundraising activities extend throughout the year with all proceeds being dedicated to their $1 million pledge for the zoo’s Endowed Fund for Conservation and Science. By filling Chicago’s social calendar, the Auxiliary Board is working to conserve wildlife across the globe.
