Established in 1994 by the Chicago Community Trust, the mission of the Young Leaders Fund (YLF) is to provide a diverse group of young professionals opportunities to expand their understanding of grant making and civic issues to become more fully informed and effective volunteers and leaders in the Chicago community. We seek to achieve this mission through active grant making based on a systematic review process that is complemented by educational programs.
